  • AQRAlerts - An internal subscription/publish system that is integrated with a cloud based rotation and escalation notification system which allows IT systems to send text, mobile, and voice two-way notifications to users (AngularJS, WebAPI, SignalR, PGM Messaging, EF Code First, Redis)
  • DevOps Tools - Multiple tools to support IT Development operations. Such as Approvals, Continuous Integration, Deployment and Testing. (Angular 2, WebAPI, Powershell, NetScaler API)
  • AQR Configuration Framework - Flexible framework for centralized application configuration management (Angular 2.0, EF Code First, WebAPI, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy)
  • Task Workflows - 50+ business workflows, including Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, Trading Violations, and Fee Approvals, which allow AQR to support front and back office operations at a fraction of the cost
• Conducting buy vs build analysis, executing vendor technical reviews, and evaluating the security of both cloud and on-premise SaaS solutions

Notable Achievements

• Pioneered the company’s transition to modern automated build and deployment practices using Bamboo/ Jenkins and internal NuGet and Symbol servers
• Spearheaded the design, build, and implementation of AQRAlert, which increased employee’s productivity and workflow efficiency by eliminating hundreds of thousands of emails from their inboxes

Delta Hedge Systems is a software development organization that builds real-time risk reporting systems for hedge funds and asset managers. As the Chief Architect & original Software Engineer, I provided technical expertise for the development of real-time risk reporting and portfolio management systems. My daily activities included

• Defining the project scope and working with internal and external stakeholders to write technical and functional requirements
• Designing the technical architecture for a multi-tier, multi-channel real-time reporting platform
• Utilizing WPF, WCF, .NET, SQL Server, MongoDB, Entity Framework 4.1, and jQuery Mobile to develop the real-time reporting platform
• Integrating the platform with multiple clearing companies, order management systems, execution management systems, market data providers, and third-party financial reporting systems

Intuit is an industry leader in financial products and services. As the Team Lead, I managed the SDLC for multiple ongoing projects. My daily activities included:

• Utilizing Java, JSP, Struts, Toplink, Webservices, and Oracle DB to design and deploy a direct deposit application

Notable Achievements

• Spearheaded the Unit Test Framework which eliminated 99% of code defects and facilitated seamless regression testing
• Produced a streamlined interface and improved the logic for customer application processes which successfully decreased the task time from 2 hours to 20 minutes
• Developed a Java application that generated valid ACH files based on stored Oracle data which significantly decreased the direct deposit processing times
